If there’s one thing Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox know, it's how to get millions of viewers to tune into their content.

So, who better to dish on the dos and don'ts of successful video-making than the YouTube stars-turned-actors, themselves?

"For us, we always say make videos, make content that you enjoy yourselves - that you could just make with your friends, that you could both enjoy," Padilla tells Made in Hollywood. "If it's comedy, you guys are both laughing about it."

When finally deciding to put yourself out there, Hecox says it's easy to tell when the content is "not genuine," with Padilla adding, "Stay away from making a YouTube channel in order to get popular or famous or something. ... You want to make something that you enjoy yourself."
