Can children always be trusted - and how much stress and heartache can a family endure? Social worker, Lars Madsen, has only a few weeks to find out who is telling the truth in a family which may be suffering from domestic violence.

Learning that Holly has a lively imagination, Lars begins to doubt her version of events. In an attempt to cheer Theo up, Holly writes to her mother, informing her that Theo will be at football practice.
