10/13/09 Anna Kendrick will receive the 21st annual Palm Springs International Film Festival's Rising Star Award for her performance in the upcoming "Up in the Air." The prize will be presented during the fest's Awards Gala on Jan. 5 at the Palm Sporings Convention Center, which will be hosted by "Entertainment Tonight's" Mary Hart.
