My feeling is that there were two jurors who wanted the guy to fry,period! George C.Scott, played one angry juror who felt being taken advantaged of. The other juror, was... african-american and didn't care to spend the day in that room.Lemmon uses logic, and he makes the other people really dwell on what is at stake;This young fellow would be their responsibility, and his life hung in their hands. Cheers and bravo to Lemmon,Olmos, and the late Scott for this gripping drama! Full Review
First of all it wasn'r Jack Lemmon it was Henry Fonda who was the lead roll in this well directed all time classic also Jack clugman was also superb
