This movie serioius disappointed me. Not to blow it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but the ending was just ridiculous. I don't understand why the... ationship with Dianne and Johnny's dad had to completely bloom and result in their marriage. Doesn't that make Milly (mandy's character) and Johnny step brother and sister? So how can they continue their relationship if their parents are married to each other? I just thought that was really stupid. I figure that was just added to give a twist to the movie, but it all seemed silly to me. Daphne's whole point in the movie was to find love for her daughter and she ends up marrying her daughters love interest's dad! Thats crazy! Full Review

The little smile you leave the theatre with, from the very last moments of the movie, is really more from relief that this movie has ended. Complete... disappointment in Diane Keaton, I've always loved her work, is she ill? I still feel bad for not warning the crowd waiting to see the next show... I have never written a review until now...maybe I can save someone the money and time. Not even worth sitting through for free. Full Review

EN A MOVIE REVIEW, BUT I FELT COMPELLED TO WARN WHOMEVER WILL LISTEN. THIS WAS THROWN TOGETHER...WHY! WHY! WHY! I FEEL LIKE I AM OWED AN APOLOGY....DON'T SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED!!! Full Review

Despite being rooted firmly in "chick flick" territory (with a high "cuteness" index), it has the capacity to please to viewers of both genders who appreciate the genre.Full Review
Amongst the cardboard-cutout supporting characters, Lauren Graham brings a welcome deadpan sensibility to the overeager proceedings.Full Review
A mild exercise in deliberate mediocrity, with chuckles and heartwarming moments distributed as carefully as nuts in a factory-made brownie. The movie's lack of ambition is hardly surprising, but both Ms. Moore and Ms. Keaton, who can wring flustered comedy out of the mildest provocation, deserve better.Full Review
The problem with Because I Said So isn't that it's formulaic and predictable; fans of romantic comedy can get around those qualities, and even appreciate them. It's that the film keeps missing out on its own opportunities for comic gold.Full Review
Any relationship between the world of Because I Said So and actual human behavior is purely coincidental.Full Review
