This film finally made it to Cleveland! It was simply a MASTERPEICE! It was one of the most sexy, sultry and not to mention well dressed films I've... seen in a while! I LOVED IT and not just because I'm a HUGE Chanel fan but because it was "Increible"! Full Review

Astounding. Best movie I've seen in a long, long, long time. The underlying theme is expressed by Stravinsky (Mads Mikkelsen) who describes it as... getting the self to grab at fragments, putting them together, and when that process opens door pass through it to find the music in the piano. He and Coco (Anna Mouglalis) are engaged in quite the minuet, her opening the door to realms he couldn't imagine before. Cinematography, acting, script, all work together like a Stravinsky concert, in fragments that fit together & astound. I can't wait to see it again. Full Review

Loved this movie. The movie begins brillantly and one senses that one is watching a masterpiece. But the film doesnt stat at that high level... ut though and ends up as a very very good one. A fine period romance with a terrific Rites of Spring show stopper at the beginning. Excellent photography and acting. Sad ending. This one will appeal to the Euro art house film lovers only. Very disappointing. Quite dull. One-dimensional characters, one-note portrayals, with the exception of the actress portraying Stravinsky's wife. Poor... use of the composer's music. Full Review

Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky concerns a love affair between two irresistible forces who have never met an immovable object before.Full Review

For at least a half hour, Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky is a brilliant and exciting film and seems almost sure to be one of the best of 2010. Then it becomes simply good. Then it becomes merely interesting. And then, about 15 minutes before the finish, it becomes dull and interminable.Full Review

There are so many guilty pleasures here that it's amazing the film is as good as it is. The passions feel real, the roles are fully inhabited and the art speaks for itself.Full Review
