  • The movie's bereftness of invention can be measured by how no story element builds on another. Instead, Happy Feet Two is plotted so that a bunch of disparate things happen, until it's time to end the movie. show more

  • For a computer-animated movie about dancing penguins, it's surprisingly leaden. Not even the impressive voice talent can rev up this clumsy spectacle. show more

  • Although it's set on the same frozen continent, Happy Feet Two is worlds away from its predecessor. show more

From my six year old\'s point of view, this movie was downright boring, and I heartedly agree. First of all, most of the penguins looked so similar, it was difficult to tell them apart, and all of them talked and talked and talked about who knows what. Ditto for Bill and Will the krill. The exception was the Elephant Seal (who never backs up!) and his babies Secondly, the scenery (although beautiful) was pretty static - snow blue skies snow blue skies snow blue skies. As for the film\'s important message - Global Warming\'s devastating effect on Nature (I think) - no child could have figured this out from the film he/she had just viewed. If I hadn\'t paid $18.00, we would have left the theater.
