Excellent. The official review got it wrong: Carl was not his nephew, but his SON; as the mother was Pregnant when she married Ludwigs brother. Pay more attention when you are an official reviewer or hire me. Marvellous costume, interiors, exteriors, ******************** for everyone, but a masterfull period piece, plus Ludwigs immoral music. Oldmans lips/mouth were my clue to his identity from having seen him in the SciFi flick with Willis; one of my all time favorites. Yes, I have electic tastes and can appreciate a well done anything.

This is a remarkable Gary Oldman movie! He made me believe he was Beethoven! I think it's one of his BEST if your a fan of his work like I am! Very powerful, beautiful and passionate! Not enough words in the dictionary to express how incredible he makes this film!
