Latest on Lars and the Real Girl
Some 300 movies came out in 2007, and we managed to see almost every one that mattered (sorry, 'Who's Your Caddy?'). Hollywood had a good year, despite all those three-quel let-downs. We battled like Spartans (but with fewer casualties) to hammer out this...
So there I was, safe and secure in the knowledge that my beloved Fright Night had avoided the curse of the remake (while Sony focused their attention on another horror property). But I should have thought it through, because these days showing a little...
When Lars ordered his Real Girl, it was the skeevy act that suddenly became sweet -- the dead-eyed, make-believe girl being his vehicle to wellness and real-life happiness. But .. What if he was a real person, and his Bianca was a paraplegic, Real Girl...
JunoShe came onto the scene with a bang, charming audiences and quickly becoming a sensation. Of course, after the press she got, and buzz that followed, many have grown sick of the snarky teen and her Diablo Cody dialog that often crosses over the line...

Like the delusional Lars, the you need to suspend reality, but once you do, you\'ve got comedy, tragedy, and lots of charm. Bravo for Gossling. He\'s terrific!
This movie was adorable, I enjoyed every moment of it. I got a lot of people into the movie so it says something. Seriously considering renting the movie again. Gosling did a wonderful job. Kudos!... !! Full Review
I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this movie. I go out of my way to like off-beat, non-blockbuster type movies. I go out of my way to see the artistic side of films. With that said, this movie just doesn... 't make sense. I get the emotional issues and I get the community trying to help, but it goes way too far and it stretched way too far to even begin to let you imagine this happening. I suggest you not spend any time with this movie, as much as I strived to like it. Full Review
This was such a great movie. I have enjoyed every movie Ryan Gosling has been in so far, and this is one of his best ones. The acting is so good that you can't help but to feel sorry for Gosling's cha... racter, and towards the end, even you start to see the doll as a real person. It has drama, it has comedy, it should have been nominated! Definitely a must see. Full Review
