Nostalgia for the Light is a strange and stunning work of art: a poem disguised as a movie about astronomers in the Atacama desert of Chile. show more
I feel sad for the terrible events of Pinochet\'s rule but the film was awful. I fell asleep a couple of times and I wish I would have left sooner. Don\'t get me wrong, I like indie movies and I speak Spanish fluently but this movie was not what I expected after seeing the reviews. The narrator was monotonous and slow, the story tried to tie the eternity of the sky with the lost souls of the labor camps, all in a very ambiguous manner. It was a good 50 minutes before anyone mentions anything of the labor camps. The movie is only 90 minutes long! I wish I had my lost 80 minutes and money back.
