Plot, acting, dialogue...EVERYTHING fails in this movie. The relationships between the characters aren't developed, the dialogue is ridiculous, the plot is boring, and the ending doesn't even make sense.
One of the recurrent scifi themes is alien invasion. After that there is usually a human guerilla opposition that somehow finds a way... Think War of the Worlds, Independence Day, Battle: Los Angeles, etc. but then give it a hugely dark spin with a \"60's\" ending. I watched this as a free rental and would never sit through it again. Ture, the various elements had moments of promise but
Beyond horrible.
People, Its a movie! I'ts a cool and somewhat interesting ride. I liked it!
Excellent movie. Great action . Much better than V. When is the next movie coming with the ending.

Beyond the dazzling "first contact" sequences seen in the trailers, Skyline is a spasmodic and incoherent shambles hampered by an astoundingly stupid screenplay. Full Review

Basically a nifty VFX reel in search of a plot. Full Review

An underwhelming and derivative sci-fi thriller that's only marginally more impressive than a run-of-the-mill SyFy Channel telepic. Full Review

It's finally here: The most boring alien-invasion movie ever. Full Review

Technically ambitious, dramatically basic. Still, it's a major step up from an AvP sequel and delivers all the Saturday night whizz-bang and Sunday morning brain-ripping you could want. Full Review
