Ya know, it doesn't feel like we're nearing the end of another decade, does it? There's no special millennium celebration or Y2K nonsense to get excited about, so it seems people are just sorta whatever about the past decade as if it wasn't very...
After viewing the trailer for Anna Faris' new comedy The House Bunny for a second time, my review can only be summed up by the immortal words of Han Solo: 'I've got a bad feeling about this.' You can now check out the trailer above for the Playmate comedy...
This movie came out last Friday, but we got our wires crossed here at Cine-central. Erik thought it was my review and I thought it was his ... whose fault it really was doesn't matter (mine), but we were fully prepared to just let the movie slide on by....
If you had told be last week that we'd be seeing Meet the Spartans at the top of this week's list I'd have laughed heartily and perhaps have made a rude gesture or two. Judging by most of the entries in last week's box office competition I'm not the only...

Apparently we were among the majority of reviewers who could not sit through this exercise in stupidity. The script, if there was one, was probably written on the reverse side of the cocktail napkin ... used in the opening scenes. To call the "humor" sophomoric would be insulting to that class. I would like to blame this on the writer's strike, but the movie was "written" before that, right? Someone PLEASE TELL ME that Ernest... Borgnine STAYED OUT after politely bowing out of the road trip (if he reappeared after that, I missed it, because I left the theater half-way through the mess) ... There was sufficient talent available to make this funny, and the only thing I can conclude is that someone is trying to make a statement by even releasing this to DVD, let alone the big screen. Everyone should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES for allowing ANYONE to pay admission for this movie. PLEASE understand that it sets the whole industry back. I never thought "JackAss" could look like Shakespeare, but suddenly it does. The WORST movie I have ever started to see, and that includes the distant cult classic "Basket Case" (those of you who saw that one, you KNOW who you are !!!). Don't waste the ticket money, don't waste the TIME, and please picket ANY video store where this is released. If it comes out on a movie channel on premium cable I would cancel my subscription. Sorry to the actors involved, and I look forward to your NEXT venture onto the screen ... YIKES ! Full Review
