To call the "humor" sophomoric would be insulting to that class. I would like to blame this on the writer's strike, but the movie was "written" before that, right? Someone PLEASE TELL ME that Ernest Borgnine STAYED OUT after politely bowing out of the road trip (if he reappeared after that, I missed it, because I left the theater half-way through the mess) ... There was sufficient talent

Apparently we were among the majority of reviewers who could not sit through this exercise in stupidity. The script, if there was one, was probably written on the reverse side of the cocktail napkin used in the opening scenes. Bill Burrud gave the best performance by far and he's been dead since 1990! The only thing that saved the day was that we got free popcorn with our rewards cards.
