What a waste of time. Malick should be ashamed of himself. I love the movies, but this was just too much. Do yourself a favor and stay home. I should have known when I saw that the movie house was 3/4's empty. And, some of those who came to see the film, left early. I was an jerk and stayed through the whole thing. Not even a star for this film.
Terence Malick never disappoints us, if we are expecting a strange movie...he is a master at communicating with the camera, very few words...gorgeous shots of Paris and Mt. St Michel, the devastating loneliness of mid-America...but after a while we ask ourselves \"where is it going?\"...(no more space
