Talk about "A Song of Ice and Fire." Mad Queen Cersei Lannister gets her Elsa on in a fan's eerily perfect mashup of the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale and the ubiquitous "Let It Go" song from "Frozen."
Cersei smugly drinks her wine as the Sept of Baelor burns, and you know Queen Elsa could've used a drink after (in her case, accidentally) freezing Arendelle.
YouTuber Tarend posted the video, writing, "Winter is coming, so..." Winter is officially here as of the Season 6 finale, so maybe they should just name a Season 7 episode "Frozen" and do a full musical, using this sync as inspiration:
The heat never bothered her anyway! (Although, it might when Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons arrive.)
Perhaps Jaime Lannister can be Anna to Cersei's Elsa, when GoT returns next year. The showrunners have teased that Season 7 will closely follow the journey of Queen Cersei.
As Dan Weiss told Deadline:
"[T]hat's what so much of next season is going to be about; finding out what Cersei's mind-set is. Who is she? While Cersei has certainly done a lot of horrible things in her life and she could be a very cruel person, the one thing that was redemptive about her was that she genuinely loved her children. Now they're all gone, and I think that is very interesting for us. Who is she without her children? The answer is something you'll find out next season. That's so much of what is to come that I'll just give it away if I start delving into it now."
Just let it go, man!
