The first teaser trailer for Disney's live-action remake of "Beauty and the Beast" was tantalizing but didn't really give us much to look at, aside from a tiny glimpse of Emma Watson as Belle. Now, a producer on the movie is sharing a couple of images of other characters.
Jack Morrissey released two photos on Facebook. The first features candlestick Lumiere (voiced by Ewan McGregor)and clock Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), though he noted that the image is concept art:The second photo shows Gaston (Luke Evans) and Le Fou (Josh Gad) performing "Gaston":Both images were taken from a sneak peak included on the upcoming Blu-ray re-release of the original animated film. They reflect the sumptuous, vivid, lavish look of the live-action remake, which is directed by Bill Condon.
"Beauty and the Beast" also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Audra McDonald as Wardrobe, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette. It opens in theaters March 17, 2017.
