Samuel L. Jackson is as excited as anyone to return for more, posting a photo from the recording booth at Walt Disney Studios to mark his "first recording session" as Lucius Best/Frozone:
Sam Jackson is the coolest guy in town, so of course he's voicing the iceman Frozone, best friend of Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and best man at Bob's wedding to Helen/Elastigirl. In 2014, Jackson told Digital Spy he was looking forward to what Frozone (and others) would do in the sequel. "I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there. I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into." Yeah, Baby Jack-Jack Parr only hinted to his potential at the end of the first movie, so we'll have to see what he's capable of now.
"The Incredibles 2" will open in theaters on June 15, 2018, which is a year earlier than originally planned.
