HBO is giving TV lovers a huge reason to be thankful this holiday season: The premium network is having a free preview event over Thanksgiving weekend.

The preview runs for five days, from Wednesday, Nov. 21 until Sunday, Nov. 25. During that time, TV fans can watch all the content they can handle, without an HBO subscription. That includes Emmy-winning shows like "Game of Thrones," "Veep," "Big Little Lies," and more.

Given that it's a holiday weekend, a lot of people may have extra time to take HBO up on its offer. The network is clearly hoping they'll get hooked on its movies and shows. The official "Game of Thrones" Twitter account, for example, invited people to "join the realm" by watching from the beginning.

Whether or not you try to watch seven seasons of the popular show over the five-day period, there's a lot of TV temptation. If you need to send your regrets to your Thanksgiving host now, we won't judge you.
