Nicolas Garcia Biography
Nicolas Rafael Garcia is a Brazilian who rose to prominence after translating and reading Lady Gaga’s speech during the MAYHEM on the Beach event, held at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro. Born in Seropédica, Rio de Janeiro, Nicolas holds a degree in Hospitality from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). He has been working at the Copacabana Palace for three years, where he started as an intern and currently holds the position of Senior Guest Relations Officer.
He was randomly selected by Lady Gaga’s team among the hotel staff to read, in Portuguese, the special message the artist wrote for her Brazilian fans during the show.
