Plot Summary

When their ship docks in Hawaii, Naval officers Cake O'Hara (Jack Oakie) and Powerhouse Bolton (Jack Haley) find themselves with several days of shore leave. After learning that the previous year's gunnery practice champion is being transferred to their ship, the two decide to bet everything they've got on the upcoming tournament. But they find themselves in hot water when the champion is unexpectedly transferred to another ship just days before the competition.
