Miniseries Plot
Local food and wine correspondent Frank McClusky falls in love with waitress Cissie Crouch. Unfortunately for him, she's the wife of a convict, who is serving time for a crime he didn't commit. As Frank's life becomes more embroiled with Cissie's he goes on a mission to track down the guilty men.

A discovery in the Clyde forces Frank to think again about Cissie's plea.

Dorwood's protest continues, but the discovery of his hidden cash prompts a change of heart for Cissie and more heartache for homeless Frank. Meanwhile, the missing drugs hunt continues and Dave Cole makes a decision he is to regret.

A chance encounter brings painful memories for Cissie and a painful moment for Boyle.

The scene is set for a showdown at the 'Ponderosa', where dissent splits the McPhail sisters.
