Boris Kaufman

- Cinematographer Boris Kaufman was born in Poland, the youngest son of a Russian librarian. Kaufman was at the forefront of the "experimental" film movement by right of birth: his older brothers were filmmakers Dziga Vertov and Mikhail Kaufman.
