Dan Rather

Born on Halloween 1931, iconic TV newsman Dan Rather is best known for being the anchor of The CBS Evening News for 24 years, succeeding Walter Cronkite in 1981. In 2006, he became host and producer of HDNet's Dan Rather Reports.
