  • The film is shot in a pretty stock manner, with jokes falling flat (when one does land, it feels like a miracle) and musical cues guiding us toward appropriate emotional responses. show more

  • It’s a film that feels like it’s simply going through the motions—not to mention one whose ultimate critique of trying to relive the past is, in light of its mass of clichés, more than a tad disingenuous. show more

  • It's good for a couple of fart jokes and otherwise utterly forgettable. show more

Back in The Day is a very funny movie made with lots of love and laughs. It is hilarious and has the best cast for it. It was made by a very talented actor, Michael Rosenbaum. He not only wrote Back in The Day, but he also directed, produced and starred in it. He did a great job. It is a very funny movie, there is some nudity but not too much. I think everybody should watch it at least once. if you et this movie on DVD you should check out the extras they are equally awesome!

This movie is the best movie of the new year! It is refreshing, especially where now a days movies are either overly romantic or overly filled with action/explosions. It is filled with love, laughter and true friendship. It was written, directed, and stared by Michael Rosenbaum. AMAZING MOVIE!!

So looking forward to seeing this movie from my hometown. Sadly, I could barely stay in the theater. Language was deplorable. Can anyone write a comedy that\'s cleaner? I felt dumber just for watching this movie!
