This is a wonderful film. It does require complete and undivided attention. On the first viewing it takes a while to put it together but once you figure out what is going on it is terrific.

I'll never watch another Tom Hanks movie again

This movie sucked. It started out really confusing and two hours into it, things still were not tying together. There aren't too many movies I turn off before the end, but this was one of them.

Produced for critics, not for audiences. This overblown monument to self-importance sacrifices entertainment for \"Whee! There's Tom Hanks again!\" character recognition. The characterizations and scene-settings typify a high school play with a $200 million budget.

Unbelieveably disjointed.

As inventive narratives go, there's outside the box, and then there's pioneering another dimension entirely, and this massive, independently financed collaboration among Tom Tykwer and Wachowski siblings Lana and Andy courageously attempts the latter. Full Review

This is by no means the best movie of the year, but it may be the most movie you can get for the price of a single ticket. Full Review

While Tom Tykwer, Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski haven't necessarily expanded on Mitchell's book, they've done a superlative job making it legible onscreen. Cloud Atlas deserves praise if only for not being the baggy, pretentious disaster it could have been in other hands. Full Review

The cinematography is gorgeous and the makeup amazing, but the story lines are too disconnected. Full Review

Tom Hanks' appearances come across like scene changes between unfunny sketches on 'Saturday Night Live.' Full Review
