I actually skipped this movie when it was in the theaters because of the bad reviews. My mistake! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie on DVD and whish I had gone to see it on the big screen. It was a fun superhero movie. Thank you Green Lantern!

I don't understand why the critics gave it a low rating. I thoroughly enjoyed it as did the majority of viewers. After all, It's a comic book come to life, not a Shakespeare novel.

Its a buy the DVD movie for me. Conflict between \"fear\" and \"will\". Great theme, much deeper then meets the eye!

finally a super hero movie that doesn't ignore the \"hide the eyes and you won't recognize me\" bit...refreshing...also film wasn't bad..considering i grew up a marvel fan.

There are pros and cons to this Green Lantern, a half-campy, half-compelling adaptation of the superheroic DC comic books. Full Review

For a movie that touts the importance of humanity, Green Lantern is a strangely lifeless spectacle. Full Review

Green Lantern was meant to be a sci-fi adventure, but it proves to be a genuine mystery. How could its megamoola budget have yielded a production that looks almost as tacky as "Flash Gordon" (which had the good grace to deprecate itself at every turn)? Full Review

An attempt to infuse an earnest piece of comicbook lore with an irreverent, tongue-in-cheek sensibility yields decidedly mixed results in Green Lantern. Full Review
