  • As I write these words, I feel myself experiencing a loss of consciousness, wondering how this recipe for sugar shock could interest any sentient being over the age of nine. show more

  • The production as a whole is awfully clumsy, and Ms. Moretz, who is only 17, needs more help than she gets from the first-time feature director, R.J. Cutler. show more

  • Any movie that considers the possibility of an afterlife, or the possibility that there isn't one, without first getting all postapocalyptic about it, merits some respect. Stay, Mia, stay! show more

A teenager movie I thought this movie was pretty good, I love the interaction between her and her parents, I don't want to give away the movie, I just think we take things for granted, like our families and what would we do, if we were in her situation, I don't know what I would do.. made me think.. The Entire teenage love thing has been done before, the interaction with her family and their friends, kept me watching and I'm a 47-year-old male.. Was this movie a tearjerker I don't know? It didn't feel like that, I was more shocked caught my breath.. Maybe a bit of a Greek tragedy.. Anyways you decide, just ones guys review

Probably a good one for the almost teens. Good story but, for adults, it needs to have a bit more grit and reality.

Teens will love this story and cry throughout most of it. Great performances by the actors but totally predictable. I wish I would have saved my money and watched on cable.
