A great movie with a lot of heart, humor, and great battle scenes, which are hard to find in an animated movie. I honestly think it was better than Despicable Me, which a lot of people say is better. I think they believe Megamind isn't as good because Despicable Me came out first. Even if it's story line is more along the 'good vs. evil + romance line', it was a lot better than a wannabe

Wow, what did some of you people want? Someone said it ripped off superman? Are you serious? It didn't have a strong enough plot? Why are you morons even going to see these kinds of movies? If you want to pretend to be a critic, go watch something that's not family friendly. Boring? Go watch Tomb Raider or something equally overdone.

If nothing else, I found my son's Kryptonite: boring superhero rip-offs voiced by check-cashing actors. At least Steve Carell used an accent. Full Review

Megamind, it turns out, is a villain to root for. Full Review

More impressive than the multi-dimensions is Megamind's minimalist, modernist look. It creates a crispness that feels more contemporary than retro, which not only is very aesthetically pleasing but makes it easier to savor the film's many sight gags. Full Review

Pitt's not around much, but Fey is good as Roxanne and Hill funny as the laziest super-powered slacker in history. But this is Ferrell's movie, meaning some inspired laughs sandwiched between annoying bits that stretch on well past their usefulness. Full Review

USA Today
Has some funny moments, silly mispronunciations and comical socio-political references. But it suffers from being the second animated movie this year to feature a dastardly villain for a hero. Full Review
