Joe Neumaier New York Daily News

By the end of its way-too-long 98 minutes, there are four things audiences will be haunted by: Jovovich's annoying, whispery monotone; silly closeups of owls; Will Patton's Z-movie turn as a grizzled sheriff, and dialogue like "It's too late to forget what you already know." Ain't that the truth. show more

When he divides the screen into quadrants for his big finish, the effect is just laughable -- but then by that point, the movie is too. show more

In truth, what follows is less disturbing than intriguing – to audiences hip to the mechanics of horror flicks, it's rare fun to be fooled, and this one is pretty damned clever. show more

I dont usually think too much into these types of movies... never get afraid and it never gets to me, usually end up laughing at them. But this one had me truly on the edge of my seat and gave me nightmares. I could barely sleep for a few days after - it really affected me. One of a kind movie with a deep plot, based on true events with true footage. There is no denying what happened and it leaves it up to you to decide for yourself what to believe. The best type of movie in this genre to date. This is not just a horror movie. This is a movie with a real backbone of true events that will leave you breathless and scared to go to sleep.

If you like conspiracies, X-files, Fire in the Sky type movies this one is awesome. Actual live footage and real voice recordings of police and others experiencing alien encounters!! Frightens you on a different level.

Greatest movie of 2010. Down right amazing. Everything about the film was great. It was awesome how they mixed in old real footage and the new stuff. It had me a little scared at one point. The whole concept of this movie was great. Will you believe the video footage? You definitely watch this to find out.

I am watching this movie right now and I despise this movie. The acting is sub-par. The main actor in this movie playing the Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler speaks in such a soft tone is annoying. Throughout the entire movie she is playing the submissive give me time please personality. This is extremely annoying. The story drags on with no real pace and the story seems to take different directions. That being said the different directions of a movie do not connect because its the same topic. Jumping around from supposed surveillance and actual recordings to a move does not make me believe a thing, it ruins the movie. I assume this movie would be good on a serious acid trip. Don't buy this movie, its a waste of shelf space.

It was ok. Not great or bad but just ok. If you have nothing else better to rent then check it out. The fact that you know this stuff is fake just kills ******** kind of a Blair Witch thing. It's creepy but not terrifying.
