A five star movie. So nice to see a movie with a happy ending for all, great acting, great scenery. Nice not to have to hear constant cursing and watch lots of explicit crime and sex scenes. Let's leave something to the imagination.

Finally a movie I looked forward to seeing. People today could learn a lot about how to act and dress from 1912. A classic time in our Country. Unfortunately gone forever. Today we have tattoos and body piercing !!

I've been whatching for three months in MIchigan to see the movie. It was advertised in Lighthouse Digest Magazine. I have no clue how many people buy the magazine, but w all the lighthouse buffs in Michigan you might think they would start showing the movie there first!!! Maggie

Such predictable pap is generally better suited for romance novels or Lifetime movies. Here, it's elevated somewhat by a decent cast. Full Review

Danner, the film's sole strength, does what she can with the material, but it's not enough to offset writer-director Daniel Adams' clich-ridden script and leaden direction, or the excruciating hamfest that is Richard Dreyfuss' lead performance. Full Review

You can't really hate The Lightkeepers. You can only wish that writer-director Daniel Adams had invested the movie with equal measures of originality and quaintness … and maybe told Dreyfuss to tone down the whole sea captain thing. Full Review

A lifeless period romance of the cutesy-cantankerous persuasion. Full Review
