Tooth Fairy would be substantially less likable without Johnson's native-born flair for self-abasement. show more

Michael Lembeck directs with the subtlety of a sledgehammer, pounding every joke and cliche until they are flat, flat, flat. show more

Tooth Fairy's script -- which was written by five people -- is lousy, and the direction, by Michael Lembeck, is weak. show more

Dwayne Johnson's energetic performance enlivens an otherwise by-the-numbers family comedy. show more

The only apparent reason Tooth Fairy exists at all is to squeeze tough-guy ex-wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson into tights and a tutu. As comic ideas go, that doesn't stretch much further than the poster. show more

Tooth Fairy is cute. Which is to say that Dwayne Johnson is cute. How could anybody with the body of Arnold Schwarzenegger (circa 1984) and the smile of Cameron Diaz not be, especially when dressed -- albeit briefly -- in a pink tutu? show more

There's no way I can recommend this movie to anyone much beyond the Tooth Fairy Believement Age, but I must testify it's pleasant and inoffensive, although the violence in the hockey games seems out of place. show more

Sorry to disappoint anyone who saw the cast list of this film and presumed Julie Andrews was going to play the horrific serial killer Tooth Fairy from the Hannibal Lecter movies. show more

Some movies are meant to burn. This movie is one of them. It sucks. I fell asleep in the middle of it. When it comes out on DVD, I'm gonna throw it in the fire.

I couldn'******* this movie without thinking how far has The Rock fallen? He could have had one of the greatest, if not the greatest career in the history of pro wrestling. What a shame! Go back to WWE Rock. They need u as much as u need them.

I really enjoyed this movie. It had a great message, was family friendly, and provided lots of laughs. Besides, The Rock is always good eye candy (LOL!) Ashley Judd gave a fine performance as well. No, this movie wasn't Oscar material but I thought it was pretty good!
