The final trailer for "Aquaman" has arrived, packed to the gills with bonus footage of Arthur Curry's (Jason Momoa) home kingdom, as well as a deeper look at the how the titular half-human, half-Atlantean trains to become the king -- and hero -- that Atlantis needs.

In the clip, we see a young Arthur begin his training with Vulko (Willem Defoe), including learning how to properly swim, fight, and catch flying objects (this last one looks more impressive than it sounds, particularly when said object is a lightning-fast trident). That will all come in handy, since there's a major war brewing between the surface and the sea, led by Arthur's half-brother, King Orm (Patrick Wilson).

If you're eager to see more of that much-discussed underwater footage that made production so difficult, there's plenty to ogle in this trailer. The visual effects are truly dazzling, especially when the camera zooms through Atlantis right along with all of those weaponized sea creatures.

There's also an adorable scene where Aquaman's mother, Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman), uses a teddy bear and tiny fork to illustrate for a baby Arthur what his future holds. If that's not a selling point, we don't know what is.

"Aquaman" swims into theaters on December 21. Find out how to see it early here.
