Alejandro Solano Biography

Alejandro Solano, born in the Dominican Republic, is an actor, director, and filmmaker. As an actor, he has participated in numerous advertising and film projects, acquiring the knowledge and experience over the years that have also led him to become a filmmaker. He directed his first short film, “Amor, ¿Amas?” in 2023, the music video “Chisme” by French artist Victoria Amaya, the commercial “LAPRIEST2024” for the clothing brand LaPriest, as well as several music videos for Jenn Santos, including “Insuperable”, “Nada que Ver”, and “Ni Modo”.

He also worked as Director of Photography for the short film “Donde quedan los recuerdos” (2025), as a camera assistant on the film “Soy Mía” (2025), and as a producer on the commercial “Hazlo realidad” (2024). His drive to create meaningfully has given his work a fresh character, helping him gradually establish his place within the industry.
