Chester W. Nimitz Biography

Chester William Nimitz (24 février 1885, Fredericksburg, Texas — 20 février 1966) était un amiral américain. Durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il fut commandant en chef des forces des États-Unis dans le Pacifique. Il fut commandant des flottes de sous-marins américains et fut chef du bureau de la navigation en 1939.
