Fatma Karanfil Biography
Fatma Karanfil (3 February 1952 - 4 June 2024) was a Turkish theater, cinema and TV series actress. After studying at LCC, she started working in cinema in 1968 with the third place she won in the Ses magazine contest. She married Ali Kocatepe in 1975 and later separated; she went to London to study textile education between 1976 and 1980, during the sex movie boom.
She married for the second time in 1984. After recovering from breast cancer, she returned to the stage in 2001.
