Ivan Putilin Biography
The first head of the detective police of St. Petersburg. The first film about Putilin was released before the revolution and was called «Sonka the Golden Pen». Conducted thousands of investigations. Active State Councilor (12/06/1874). He was retired from February 1, 1875 to June 3, 1878 and from 07/31/1881 to 04/01/1883. Privy Councilor (05/04/1889).
Shortly before his death, he completed the biographical book «Forty Years Among Robbers and Murderers».
