Yousef Al-Waeli

Yousef Al-Waeli has always had a passion for movies. He was born in Abu Dhabi, UAE & At age 4 he was diagnosed with Leukemia and would spend all his time in the hospital watching classic films. After 4 long years of battling cancer, he was finally cured and that’s when he and his family decided to move to Vancouver Canada, where his passion for movies didn’t only continue, but grew.

He got a job working at a movie theater, where within his first few months was awarded employee of the month for his love and knowledge of movies. He graduated from Kitsilano Secondary School where he began Brown Brothers Productions. It was there where he found his love of writing & directing. Yousef always liked to appear in his films in a cameo but recently he began acting with starring roles in “That’s Life” & MyRODEReel 2019 competitor “Stay”
