For a low budget, non sensationalized film, this was quite charming. It maintained a nice balance between the mystical and the rational. Ted Hanson was believeable in his low key acting and Joely Richardson and the others gave very professional performances. I could only have wished that the movie showed more shots of beautiful Scotland. It was more a short story than a novel. While
