This is Bond like you've never seen him, almost Freudian in his vulnerability. And a dynamite Daniel Craig, never better in the role, nails Bond's ferocity and feeling. show more

Skyfall is a different kind of Bond movie, one that works just fine on its own terms, but a steady diet of this might kill the franchise. One Skyfall is enough. show more

With a powerful jolt, 007 feels relevant again, with serious questions about espionage vs. cyber hacking amid the fun. show more

We need 007, even after half a century of his ups and downs in various incarnations, to remind us how deeply pleasurable an action thriller can be. The latest addition to the Bond canon goes beyond thrilling into chilling and enthralling, plus a kind of stirring that has nothing to do with martinis. show more

Skyfall is certainly the most cultured Bond film to come along in some time. It's also the first of the three Craig endeavors to seriously (and wittily) acknowledge its pedigree. show more

Though a notch below "Royale," Skyfall follows that reboot's lead, making a now 50-year-old icon as cool as when he began. show more

Dramatically gripping while still brandishing a droll undercurrent of humor, this beautifully made film will certainly be embraced as one of the best Bonds by loyal fans worldwide and leaves you wanting the next one to turn up sooner than four years from now. show more

Working with the great cinematographer Roger Deakins, Mendes also presents some stunning sequences of beauty in a film where you might not expect such a thing. show more

The stars and the explosions are backed up by plenty of class - Ralph Fiennes as M's new boss, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe as a couple of the requisite Bond beauties, and Judi Dench finally given the space to turn M into a full-bodied character. show more

Skyfall triumphantly reinvents 007 in one of the best Bonds ever. This is a full-blooded, joyous, intelligent celebration of a beloved cultural icon, with Daniel Craig taking full possession of a role he previously played unconvincingly. I don't know what I expected in Bond No. 23, but certainly not an experience this invigorating. show more

Bond: The way he should be portrayed. Very gritty, rough, and angry. Bond takes no prisoners, saves the day, and gets the girl.

Hey it\'s James Bond. Starts out fast and keep the action going. As many of Bond fans may still wish for Sean Connery who set the standard for Bond...James Bond. This one is kind of growing on me and I have now accepted him. As other have stated....keep you tux on!

Just a comment about kylievond\'s review about unnecessary kissing scenes. What movie were you watching?? One very brief shower scene where no nudity was shown. Both were behind foggy shower doors. You seem to be carrying prudishness to a new level. My husband and I both really enjoyed the movie, although agree it was a tad too long. Action and stunts incredible.

Two Baboons have more alluring chemistry than Skyfall\'s James Bond and Miss Moneypenny. Bond is mopey and in order to overlook the many plot holes, one must completely turn their brain off... to quote someone on Rotten Tomatoes \"A bloated, tedious, uninspired, sluggish and vapid bore that can only be enjoyed by very shallow, unctuous philistines.\" and \"Skyfall doesn\'t have the layers it needs to strut so casually for so long.\". PASS.

The Best Bond movie in many years. It was really nice to see more of the human, vulnerable, and aging James Bond. It also features my pick for top Bond movie villain of all time.

Great - but not as good as Craig\'s first James Bond movie. Good plot and great action.

At the risk of seeming simple, it was a fun movie.
