Maddy is from Glasgow, Scotland. She is a staff writer at National Review and a visiting fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum. Maddy is a contributor to The Spectator and has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail, Standpoint Magazine, Law & Liberty, UnHerd, The Scotsman, The Catholic Herald, Verily, and Heterodox Academy.
She has appeared on the BBC, STV, ITV, Fox News, Louder with Crowder and the Ben Shapiro Show. She has a first class bachelor’s degree in English from the University of St Andrews, a postgraduate diploma in Education from the University of Glasgow, and a master’s degree in Journalism from New York University. She writes and performs music.
