Pamela Heath Biography

Pamela Heath was born Pamela Sneed in Columbia, Missouri on September 8, 1955. She began painting and publishing cartoons while an undergraduate at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She married her husband, Gary Heath, while in Medical School at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, later divorcing in 1987. They had no children.

Her career took a turn when she began having spontaneous psychic experiences in the early 1990s. This ultimately led her to return to school, this time for a doctorate degree in psychology (PsyD), specializing in Parapsychology. She completed her dissertation on psychokinesis in 1999, and graduated from the American School of Professional Psychology and Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Psychology in California.

Dr. Heath has investigated numerous haunting cases since 1996, alongside Loyd Auerbach and the Office of Paranormal Investigations. Her first credited television debut was in 2004 on the Living TV show Dead Famous: Al Capone and the Mob (2004). Dr. Heath is a full member of the Parapsychological Association, an associate of the Society for Psychical Research, and co-founder of the Paranormal Research Organization.

She has published journal articles and textbook chapters on psychokinesis, place memory, experiential research, and the survival of bodily death. Her books include "The PK Zone" and "Suicide: What Really Happens in the Afterlife?" She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, and divides her time between writing, painting in oils, practicing medicine, and doing haunting investigations.
