Although he was there to promote "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Harrison Ford remained coy about the film.

"I can tell you this. It’s really, really good," he told Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday of the film that continues to be shrouded in mystery.

"The new cast – Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac – are phenomenal," he said. "J.J. has made an incredible movie. You will not be disappointed at all. I promise you."

Ford even refused to answer whether he's seen the movie in its entirety. He even good-naturedly avoided speaking about the reports that he injured his ankle on the set. There were reports that he got hurt from a garage door.

"Not so much," he said of that incident, "it was the door to the Millennium Falcon."

As much as Kimmel try to pry details of the movie out of him, Ford would not budge. He did say that he owes a lot to George Lucas and J.J. Abrams.

"No, I love them all. George has been amazing to me. He’s been the author of the early chapters of my life and given me the opportunity to have a really extraordinary life," he said. "J.J. has given me a chance to have a really wonderful part in a great movie."
