Although Kate Winslet is “super proud” of winning a best actress Oscar for "The Reader," she famously keeps the trophy in her bathroom.

The actress finally reveals the reason why, and it's a good one.

“The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, ‘I’d like to thank my son and my dad’—and you can always tell when someone has, because they’re in there a little bit longer after they flushed," she tells the Wall Street Journal. "They’ll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It’s hysterical.”

Winslet next appears in "Steve Jobs," the biopic about the Apple co-founder. The film opens Oct. 9.
