Araki constructs the hot-blooded Kaboom as a high-wire act without a safety net. Go with it. show more

    Mick LaSalle San Francisco Chronicle

For the most part, it's fairly pleasant and interesting enough to be there. show more

    Steven Rea Philadelphia Inquirer

The meaning - and irony - of Kaboom's title doesn't become clear until a beat or two before the end credits roll, and even then it's hard to say what exactly Araki is getting at. show more

The good-natured cast helps distract from a barely sketched plot and outrageously cheap production values. show more

Kaboom's one-liners are snappy, knowing, and unexpected. show more

It's all goofy stuff, played for laughs, but it's clear we've been catapulted into a world where things are not quite right. show more

This movie stole two hours of my life that I can never get back. This movie is truly awful. I\'ve seen pornos with better plots and acting. The only possible reason anyone would like this movie is because of all the nudity and sex. My husband and I literally had a wtf moment as soon as the movie ended and decided that this is in fact, the worst movie we have ever seen.

Thomas Dekker was awesome! \"The fact that you randomly sometimes stick it in a girl does not mean beyond that you need to monitor your drinking.\" LOL! I love it. - The movie was way too psychedelic and trippy for me, but I really was only watching to see the gorgeous Thomas Dekker!
