Antonia Nava, one of Spain's most seasoned international film execs, has ankled as managing director, international production at Barcelona-based mini-major Filmax Ent.
Teaming with an undisclosed partner, Nava is prepping her own film production shingle, which will be based out of Barcelona and Los Angeles and ready to launch before next September's Toronto Film Festival.

[For those now joining us, A Movie A Day is my attempt at filling in gaps in my film knowledge.
