Scott, Winstead and Howard are charming, while Poehler, O’Hara and Jenkins have a grand time bickering. Since Zicherman doesn’t ask much of us in the first place, they make it easy enough to commit. show more

This was a much better movie than the critic reviews indicate. The dialog was clever compared to most of the mindless comedies in theaters, and the script balanced comedy with the more serious nature of problems of children who experience divorce. The cast, acting and timing was excellent.
