it was alright. had alot of flaws with the unneeded scenes as well as the voice over of Chris's sister, Carine (Jena Malone)
i just watched this movie and it taught me a lot of lessons. I also liked Kristen Stewarts part =]
I give this movie 4 stars! I would give it 1000 stars if I could. Into the Wild was a adventureous and feel good film. The movie couldn't of been... more better! Emile Hisrich is a terrific actor and this movie has a great plot and you'll wanna see it over & over again. Into the Wild has kinda that forest gump feature to it and is worth watching. Trust me, you'll absolutley love this movie...... Full Review
A tremendous movie.
What happened? After reading so many positive reviews I was expecting something special. Not so. We ate on a Sunday evening and only the buffet was... available. The only BB available was pulled chicken and some single ribs. Neither was anything I would order again. The fried chicken was third rate and the only thing I saw were backs; no wings, no breasts. The huspuppies were, hands down, the worst I ever tasted. They were so bad I wanted desperatly to spit it out, and that was just one small bite. Both the chicken and the hushpuppy were laden with foul tasting grease. My advice; go somewhere else for better food and a better bargain. Full Review

There's a bittersweet quality to McCandless' story that Penn captures intuitively.Full Review
The beauty of Into the Wild, which Penn has written and directed with magnificent precision and imaginative grace, is that what Christopher is running from is never as important as what he's running TO.Full Review
Sean Penn sings a powerful and poetic hymn to America with Into the Wild, his sweeping, sensitive and deeply affecting adaptation of Jon Krakauer's best-selling book.Full Review
