When The Dark Knight was left off the Oscar lists last year, the cries of injustice were heard loud and far. The Academy is biased. Who did the Weinsteins buy off? How many dirty pictures of AMPAS members does Stephen Daldry possess to get three director...
It only took a matter of days after the first trailer for Avatar went public that people had begun to rend the flesh from its digital bones. And while there were plenty of cries of Dances with Smurfs, the most notable detractor was a site that posted a...
In the day's 'frivolous lawsuit' news, according to a story on PR Newswire, Fathom Studios, the producers of the little-seen animated film Delgo are contemplating legal action against the makers of Avatar, James Cameron's 12-years-in-the-making return to...
It is of course impossible to say whether the much-discussed work print leak damaged Wolverine's box office take, nor whether Fox's cockamamie strategy of tacking on different mid-credits codas to different prints of the film helped matters. All we can...
There's a story making the rounds -- originating, as best I can tell, with this post over at Yahoo! Movies -- making the case that this past weekend's minor computer-animated effort Delgo is, to paraphrase, the biggest wide-release bomb of all time. Is...

Not a chance. This movies art was terrible. It is visually one of the worst concepts ever put into animation. It's just not there. It's stero typical junk. Do not waste your time or money.
I loved this movie! The fact that it was so visually stunning trumps the "Romeo and Juliet" rehash. Besides, all of those who are knocking it because it took elements from other movies or has "stale j... okes" are forgetting that this is a movie for KIDS! Kids don't know, and really don't care about those things. Go and see it for yourself and try not to listen so much to jaded adults judging a kid's film. Take it for what it's worth which is pretty darn good! Full Review
OK, this movie had great visuals, wonderfully imaginative creatures running through it, a terrific cast, and some wonderful battle scenes, but the script and plot died in committee. It drags unmercifu... lly in the beginning, and overtly steals ideas from just about every blockbuster action/adventure/fantasy in the last 40 years (and doesn't even bother to put its own mark on its thefts). It would have been a much better movie if it had something original to say or do. As it was, it depended far too much on its look, and not at all on its plot. Full Review
